HCF4013B is the B series product of HCF4013, a dual D-type flip-flop manufactured by Texas Instruments.
The HCF4013B is a monolithic CMOS integrated circuit offered in DIP‑14 and SOP‑14 packages. It contains two independent D‑type flip‑flops, each with separate data, set, reset and clock inputs and complementary Q/Q̅ outputs. The device supports set‑reset operation independent of the clock and can be used in shift‑register, counter and toggle applications.
The datasheet provides absolute maximum ratings, recommended operating conditions, DC and dynamic electrical characteristics, test circuit examples, and mechanical dimensions. It also includes a truth table, pin description, and legal disclaimer regarding usage and liability.
| Supply Voltage (Vop) – Recommended | 3 V to 20 V |
|---|---|
| Quiescent Current (typical at 5 V) | 0.02 µA |
| Propagation Delay (Clock → Q) – Typical at 5 V | 150 ns |
| Input Leakage Current (max) | 100 nA at Vpp = 18 V |
The recommended supply voltage (Vop) is 3 V to 20 V.
The HCF4013B contains two identical, independent D‑type flip‑flops.
Typical propagation delay (clock to Q) at 5 V is 150 ns.
The device is offered in DIP‑14 and SOP‑14 packages.
