About this manual

The RF2051 is a low‑power, high‑performance wideband RF frequency‑conversion chip that integrates a fractional‑N PLL, voltage‑controlled oscillators, dividers, and two high‑linearity RF mixers. It generates a low‑phase‑noise local‑oscillator signal and supports up‑ and down‑conversion from 30 MHz to 2.5 GHz.

Key specifications include a 300 MHz‑to‑2.4 GHz LO range, 2.7 V‑to‑3.6 V supply, 55 mA‑75 mA current consumption, 32‑pin QFN package, and operation from –40 °C to +85 °C. The device is RoHS‑compliant and intended for portable, battery‑powered applications such as CATV head‑ends, digital TV repeaters, and software‑defined radios.
