STPS30L30CT/CG/CR is a dual center tap Schottky rectifier produced by ST company. It is suitable for switch mode power supply and high frequency DC/DC converters. Its characteristics are very small conduction loss, negligible switching loss, extremely fast switching, low forward voltage drop, low thermal resistance and avalanche capability.
The STPS30L30CT/CG/CR series are low‑drop power Schottky rectifiers designed for switch‑mode power supplies, high‑frequency DC‑DC converters, and inverter applications. They are offered in TO‑220AB, D‑PAK and PA‑K packages and feature very small conduction losses, negligible switching losses, and avalanche capability.
Key electrical ratings include a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 30 V, RMS forward current of 15 A, and a forward voltage drop as low as 0.33 V at 125 °C. Thermal characteristics feature a junction‑to‑case resistance of 1.5 °C/W and a maximum junction temperature of 150 °C. Mechanical data for each package type are provided along with ordering information.
| Repetitive peak reverse voltage (VrRM) | 30 V |
|---|---|
| Forward voltage drop at 15 A, 25 °C | 0.46 V |
| Maximum junction temperature (Tj) | 150 °C |
| Surge non‑repetitive forward current (per device) | 220 A |
The device is rated for a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 30 V.
The rectifier is offered in TO‑220AB, D‑PAK, and PA‑K (PPAK) packages.
At 15 A and 125 °C the forward voltage drop is 0.33 V.
The junction‑to‑ambient thermal resistance is 0.8 °C/W for the TO‑220AB package.
