About this manual

The A29L160 series provides 16 Mbit of non‑volatile storage organized as 2 M × 8‑bit or 1 M × 16‑bit words. It operates from a single 3.0 V supply and is compatible with JEDEC single‑power‑supply flash standards. The device includes embedded erase and program algorithms, sector protection, and automatic sleep mode to reduce power consumption.

Available in 48‑ball FBGA, 44‑pin SOP and 48‑pin TSOP packages, the A29L160 supports full‑chip erase, sector erase, and unlock‑bypass programming for faster write times. It is designed for battery‑powered applications and can be programmed in‑system without an additional VPP voltage.
