The MAX66120 is a radio frequency chip from Maxim. It integrates 1024-bit user EEPROM, 64-bit UID and 13.56MHz ISO 15693 RF interface, and can be applied to driver identification, access control and asset tracking.
The MAX66120 is an ISO 15693‑compliant 1 Kb memory fob that integrates 1024 bits of user EEPROM, a 64‑bit unique identifier, and a 13.56 MHz RF interface in a plastic key‑fob package. The memory is organized into 16 blocks of 8 bytes, with each block featuring a write‑cycle counter and optional protection features such as write‑protect and EPROM‑emulation modes.
Key features include full support for ISO 15693 data rates and modulation schemes, a minimum of 200 000 write/erase cycles, 40‑year data retention, and operation over a temperature range of –25 °C to +50 °C. The device is powered parasitically from the RF field and includes command sets for inventory, read/write, and memory protection.
The MAX66120 provides 1024 bits (1 Kb) of user EEPROM organized as 16 blocks of 8 bytes.
The EEPROM can endure a minimum of 200,000 write/erase cycles.
