This document describes the features and characteristics of Farnell InOne 9184007 = 3721-0005PR Transition IDC 16-way.
The 3M 3721‑0005PR is a 4‑row, 16‑contact IDC (Insulation Displacement Connector) designed for 1.27 mm pitch flat‑cable applications. It provides electrical connection between flat cable and printed‑circuit board with plated U‑elements and gold‑flash tails.
The connector is rated for 10 A continuous current, up to 250 V AC or 300 V DC, and operates from –55 °C to +105 °C. It accommodates 28 AWG stranded wire and requires a through‑hole of 0.8 mm + 0.1 mm. Standard plating is nickel on the U‑element area and gold flash on the tail area.
