About this manual

The TLP115A is a miniature surface‑mount photocoupler that combines a high‑output‑power GaAs LED with a shielded high‑gain photo‑detector. It provides fast switching (typ. 10 MBd) and strong common‑mode transient immunity (1000 V/µs) for digital isolation in microprocessor and computer‑peripheral interfaces.

The device is rated for 2500 Vrms isolation, 20 mA forward current, and operates from a 4.5‑5.5 V supply. It is suitable for applications such as A/D and D/A conversion isolation, ground‑loop elimination, and high‑speed data lines in industrial and consumer electronics.
