ANALOG DEVICES ADM487E handbook

The ADM485E/ADM487E/ADM1487E are 5V low power data transceivers with ±15 kV ESD protection suitable for half-duplex communication on multipoint bus transmission lines. They are designed for communication based on the TIA/EIA RS-485/RS-422 standard and have data transfer rates of 250 kbps (ADM487E) and 2.5 Mbps (ADM485E/ADM1487E). Additionally, they feature reduced slew rates for low electromagnetic interference, a common-mode input range of -7V to +12V, thermal shutdown, and short-circuit protection.
