About this manual

The ADP1877 is a Flex‑Mode dual‑channel step‑down switching controller that drives N‑channel synchronous MOSFETs. Its two PWM outputs are 180° phase‑shifted to reduce input ripple current and allow the use of any output capacitors. The device includes integrated boost diodes, soft‑start, over‑voltage, over‑current, thermal overload and UVLO protection.

The controller operates from 2.75 V to 14.5 V input, supports output voltages from 0.6 V up to 90 % of the input, and can deliver more than 25 A per channel. Frequency is programmable from 200 kHz to 1.5 MHz, and the part is offered in a 32‑lead 5 mm × 5 mm LFCSP package.
