About this manual

The ADN2850 is a dual‑channel, digitally controlled programmable resistor offering 1024 wiper positions per channel. It provides the same adjustment function as a mechanical rheostat with higher resolution, solid‑state reliability, and a low temperature coefficient.

The device includes non‑volatile EEMEM memory that stores wiper settings and actual tolerance values, which are automatically restored on power‑up. Programming is performed via a standard SPI‑compatible serial interface supporting 16 instruction modes, including increment/decrement, log‑taper adjustment, and user‑defined data storage.
