About this manual

The AD5751 is a low‑cost, precision I/V output driver that provides programmable voltage and current ranges (0‑5 V, 0‑10 V, 0‑40 V; 4‑20 mA, 0‑20 mA, 0‑24 mA). It communicates via an SPI/Microwire‑compatible 3‑wire serial interface and includes features such as on‑chip fault detection, PEC error checking, power‑on‑reset and an asynchronous CLEAR pin.

The device operates from a 12 V to 60 V supply, supports capacitive loads up to 1 µF and inductive loads up to 0.1 H, and offers high accuracy with a total unadjusted error of 0.1 % (FSR). It is intended for industrial process and actuator control applications and includes layout and transient‑voltage protection guidelines for reliable integration.
