The DS1233D EconoReset is a microprocessor power supply monitor with automatic restart function. It accurately monitors the 5V power supply and uses a precision temperature-compensated voltage reference and voltage sensor. It detects out-of-tolerance power supply conditions and warns the processor-based system of impending power failure. After the power supply returns to an in-tolerance condition, it keeps the reset signal active for approximately 350 ms to allow stabilization of the power supply and processor.
