Charge the handset for 8 hours on the base before the first use.
Press the call button (•) and dial the telephone number; press • again to answer an incoming call and press # to end the call.
Press Menu, select Phonebook > Add new, then confirm with OK.
From the menu choose Answering Machine > Announcement, then follow the prompts to record or play back messages.
