About this manual

This manual introduces the AMDP‑X/E801 series motor protector, a DSP‑based device with digital settings and display. It details the main features, protection functions such as phase loss, short‑circuit, ground fault, stall, overload and current imbalance, and specifies the applicable range for three‑phase AC motors up to 1140 V.

The document provides step‑by‑step instructions for parameter configuration, fault code interpretation, wiring diagrams, analog 4‑20 mA outputs, and installation dimensions. It also explains how to reset the device and integrate it with PLC/DCS systems. This manual is written in Chinese.

Frequently asked questions

What fault codes does the AMDP‑X/E801 series provide and what do they mean?

The protector uses six fault codes: EE01 – ground fault, EE02 – short‑circuit, EE03 – phase loss, EE04 – stall, EE05 – current imbalance, EE06 – overload.

How is the motor current range set?

Set Parameter 1 to the desired motor current in amperes; the allowed range is 20 %–100 % of the primary current‑transformer rating (Parameter D). Values outside this range prevent the relay from energising.
