About this manual

The AMDP‑X/E701 series motor protection device from XWAM protects three‑phase AC motors up to 1140 V. It features a DSP core, digital settings, a 5‑digit LED display, multiple fault outputs, and 4‑20 mA analog outputs. The device supports protection functions such as phase loss, short‑circuit, ground fault, jam, overload and current imbalance.

The manual describes the wiring of the main unit, relay contacts (011, 012), DO/DI terminals, and connection to current transformers. It also explains how to set parameters, interpret fault codes (EE01‑EE06), and reset the device using the R key or a clear‑fault pulse on DI1. Diagrams for PLC integration and electrical schematics are included. This manual is written in Chinese.

Frequently asked questions

How can the protection device be reset after a fault?

Press the R key to reset, which re‑initialises the controller and stops the motor, or send a clear‑fault pulse to DI1.

Which terminals are used for the internal relay contacts?

The relay contacts are connected to terminals 011 and 012; they close when the motor is running normally and open when a fault occurs.
