The RA8806 is a full‑character and graphic mode LCD controller (CSTN‑LCD) with built‑in dual‑page memory, 512 KB ROM font storage and support for up to 16×16‑pixel full‑size characters in BIG5, GB and JIS code sets, as well as ASCII Latin‑1‑4. It can operate in standard mode (up to 320×240 pixels) or expansion mode (up to 640×240 or 320×480 pixels) and includes an intelligent 4‑wire resistive touch controller with PWM contrast and backlight control.
The device offers flexible MPU interfaces (4‑bit or 8‑bit 8080/8086 style), a keypad interface (32‑key 4×6 or 64‑key 8×8), and an integrated 5 V‑to‑3 V DC/DC converter. Packages are available in Die, LQFP‑100 and TQFP‑80 formats, and the clock source can be a 4 MHz‑12 MHz crystal oscillator. This manual is written in Chinese.
