The RA8815 is a graphic LCD driver controller that includes a 266 KB ROM for character fonts, a 528‑byte display RAM, a 256‑byte SRAM for custom characters, and a 354‑byte shift buffer. It supports both Chinese and ASCII character sets and can drive LCD panels up to 128 × 33 pixels with vertical and horizontal scrolling.
The device offers multiple MPU interfaces, including 4‑bit/8‑bit parallel buses and 3‑wire or 4‑wire serial modes, as well as built‑in key‑scan circuitry, voltage‑boost and regulation circuits, and Gold Bump PADs for COG modules.
