RTU-485 Modbus remote I/O communication module is a remote control module for Delta PLC to Slim series I/O modules. It supports automatic detection of I/O modules and can connect up to 8 special input/output modules. The maximum expansion of digital quantity points is 128 input and 128 output points.
The RTU-485 is a Modbus remote I/O communication module that enables Delta programmable logic controllers to control Slim series I/O modules over RS‑485. It functions as a standard Modbus slave and can be used with any master that follows the Modbus protocol.

Use the address setting switches; the valid range is H’01 to H’F0 (decimal 1‑240). The address must be set with power off and cannot be changed while the unit is running.
The RTU‑485 supports baud rates of 1,200, 2,400, 4,800, 9,600, 19,200, 38,400, 57,600 and 115,200 bps.
It can expand up to 128 digital input points and 128 digital output points.
