Agilent Technologies' EZChrom Elite CDS and Agilent OL Operating System for the Laboratory are software systems well known for their comprehensive instrument control. In addition to software control of many commercial Gas Chromatographs, autosamplers and HPLC instruments, EZChrom Elite and Agilent OL can also control two position and Multi- position Microelectric Actuated valves from VICI AG (Valco Instruments Co, Inc) with optional instrument control software. This capability allows VICI valves to be integrated into an HPLC or GC instrument system for additional sampling control. The VICI Valve instrument control software option allows the software method to specify which stream position to use before the chromatographic run is started. Used in this way, the VICI Valve functions as a sampling device. By setting a delay between selecting a stream and staring a run, it is possible to optimize the cleaning of the sample loop of the injection valve. In addition to its use as a sampling device, the VICI valve may be used in a standard stream switching role. By entering commands into an EZChrom or Agilent OL method timed event table, multiple valves can be switched during the chromatographic analysis.

This document introduces the control software for Waters Alliance HPLC system, including EZChrom Elite and Agilent OL. Both software can be used in research, quality assurance and method development environments.

The Agilent Technologies SS420x Instrument Interface is an intelligent 24-bit analog to digital conversion module that provides remote acquisition for up to 4 channels of data. Designed for laboratory use, the SS420x can work with any type of analog-signal generating chromatography detector.

The document describes the easy setting of Shimadzu GC instrument control parameters in the EZChrom Elite method program, and the control of Shimadzu GC-14A, GC-15A, GC-17A (versions 1, 2, 3, and GC-17AH), and GC-2010 models using EZChrom Elite Chromatography Data System and Agilent OL Operating System. It also mentions the ability of EZChrom Elite and Agilent OL to control GCs from other leading instrument manufacturers.

Describes how to use EZChrom Elite to control PE Turbochrom, TotalChrom and ACCESS*CHROM interfaces

The file is an introduction to the control software for PerkinElmer Autosystem GC and Autosystem XL GC

Agilent Technologies EZChrom Elite Chromatography Data System and Agilent OL Operating System for the Laboratory provide a powerful and flexible way to produce a wide variety of reports.

The document introduces the control method for PerkinElmer's Turbochrom, TotalChrom, and ACCESS*CHROM interfaces, which allows the use of EZChrom Elite software to control these interfaces while retaining the investment in hardware. The PE Interface Control software serves as an optional add-on to EZChrom Elite version 3.1 or higher, enabling PerkinElmer Series 900 Intelligent Interfaces and the NCI 901/902 Interfaces to be connected to the EZChrom Elite system for data acquisition.
