The STPMC1 device is an ASSP designed for effective measurement in power line systems utilizing the Rogowski coil, current transformer, and shunt or Hall current sensors. Used in combination with one or more STPMSx ICs, it implements all the functions needed in a 1, 2, or 3-phase energy meter.

ST8024L is an upgraded version of ST8024, with higher performance and lower power consumption. This application note introduces the characteristics and usage methods of ST8024L, including PCB layout, external component layout, connection methods, etc.

This application note introduces how to configure the PLM smartplug demonstration board and how to use it in a network with other smartplug boards and a data concentrator.

This application note describes the benefits of a current sensing system for metering applications using STPMxx metering devices and a current sensor developed by Pulse Engineering Inc. based on the Rogowski coil principle.

This application note describes the fast digital calibration procedure for STPMC1 energy meters, which is more effective and innovative than the traditional calibration procedure.

This is an application note that introduces the implementation of IEEE 1588 precision time protocol on STM32F107.

This document describes how to use and configure the PLM smartplug demonstration board, as well as provides a detailed description of its hardware components. The demonstration board is based on the STM32F103CB microcontroller, the ST7540 PLM module, and the STPM01 mono-phase energy metering IC. It allows monitoring the energy consumption of a mains plug and controlling any kind of load through a relay. The board can send voltage, current, power, active energy, and output status to a PLM data concentrator via a power line communication network. A specific cabling scheme is required to control a load supplied by the monitored mains plug.

This application note introduces the STEVAL-IFP019V1 demonstration board based on the VNI4140K-32 smart power solid-state relay IC, which can be used to drive lamps, valves, relays, and similar loads in industrial applications such as PLCs (programmable logic controllers).

The STEVAL-IFP016V2 demonstration board works as an IO-Link communication master transceiver. In combination with the STEVAL-PCC009V2 or STEVAL-PCC009V1 demonstration board, the application can evaluate all the features of the L6360 IC. The L6360 is a monolithic IO-Link master port, compliant with PHY2 (3 wires) supporting COM1 (4.8 kbaud), COM2 (38.4 kbaud) and COM3 (230.4 kbaud) modes.

This document introduces the VNI4140K quad high-side smart power solid-state relay IC and provides design guidelines for the STEVAL-IFP006V1 demonstration board.
