This document describes the definition and design of self-tests for SPC564Ax devices, with a focus on self-tests for the CPU subsystem, digital peripherals, and analog peripherals.

This application note describes the virtual current control loop for the L9374-L9375 coil driver kit in ABS-ESC control unit.

This application note provides a detailed analysis of the current regulated channels of the ST coil driver L9352B. This intelligent quad-low side switch is typically used to drive inductive loads such as on-off valves of the hydraulic modulator of ABS(a)/ESP(b) control unit.

The L9952GXP power management system IC is an innovative solution that can significantly reduce quiescent current while providing comprehensive fail safe functionality, meeting the sustainability and reliability requirements of automotive electronic control units. This application guide is intended to help system, hardware and software developers enhance, optimize and secure their applications.

The PJ-B2980 Series of quartz crystal oscillators provide DPECL Fast Edge compatible signals. Systems designers may now specify space-saving, cost-effective packaged PECL oscillators to meet their timing requirements.

L9942 is an integrated stepper motor driver for bipolar stepper motors designed for automotive applications. It drives bipolar stepper motors with high-efficiency and smooth operation. Micro-stepping is the preferred mode to provide low-noise operation since this technique eliminates the effects of mechanical resonances, which can lower the motor torque. A motor stall detection capability allows position alignment without an external sensor, while its step counter is addressable via an SPI as well as by a separate input, to prevent the SPI overloading when running multiple motors simultaneously.

This document introduces the application of eTPU (Time Processing Unit) and the improvements in software development tools. The eTPU is the new generation of Time Processing Unit, and with the help of C language programming and eTPU simulator and debugger, software development productivity can be significantly improved.

This document is the user manual of Polaris 150.

This application note describes the API set for implementing a current sensing strategy in electric motor control applications.

This application note describes the set of API to simplify the usage of the MP49 motor control power board. It provides ST10 compatible SPI drivers to configure the board and for diagnostic purposes.

Presents API specifications of the PWM driver in ST10 electric motor control library

AN2388 is ST10F276 application note, which introduces sensor field oriented control (IFOC) of three-phase AC induction motors

This application note describes a software algorithm used for detecting an open-load condition. The algorithm refers to the L9935 two-phase stepper motor driver. The algorithm identifies the open-load failure within the failure class and filters out occurrences of false open-load failures.

This application note gives advice on using the ASC peripherals present in the ST10 and in particular, the asynchronous operations will be considered. A brief guide in the configuration of the peripheral and how to connect it to an RS232 interface or RS485 network is followed by an analysis of the sources of timing problems and how to minimize them to allow correct and error-free communications.
