The MAX1011 is a 6-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that combines high-speed, low-power operation with a user-selectable input range, an internal reference, and a clock oscillator. The ADC converts analog signals into binary-coded digital outputs at sampling rates up to 90Msps. The ability to directly interface with baseband signals makes the MAX1011 ideal for use in a wide range of communications and instrumentation applications. The MAX1011’s input amplifier features a true differential input, a -0.5dB analog bandwidth of 55MHz, and a user-programmable input full-scale range of 125mVp-p, 250mVp-p, or 500mVp-p. With an AC-coupled signal, input offset is typically less than 1/4LSB. Dynamic performance is 5.85 effective number of bits (ENOB) with a 20MHz analog input signal, or 5.7 ENOB with a 50MHz signal. The MAX1011 operates with +5V analog and +3.3V digital supplies for easy interfacing to +3.3V-logic-compatible digital signal processors and microprocessors. It comes in a 24-pin QSOP package.

The MAX1002 operates with a single +5V power supply and provides TTL-compatible digital outputs. The device is available in the commercial temperature range (0°C to +70°C) and comes in a 36-pin SSOP package.

The MAX1426 is a 10-bit monolithic analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with a sampling rate of 10Msps. It features an internal track-and-hold (T/H) amplifier for excellent dynamic performance while minimizing external components. The low input capacitance of only 8pF reduces input drive requirements. With a wide input bandwidth of up to 150MHz, this device is suitable for digital RF/IF downconverter applications using undersampling techniques. The MAX1426 utilizes a differential pipelined architecture with a wideband T/H amplifier to maximize throughput while consuming only 156mW of power. It generates an internal +2.5V reference voltage that supplies three additional reference voltages (+3.25V, +2.25V, and +1.25V), providing a differential input range of +2V to -2V. The analog inputs are internally biased to correct the DC level, eliminating the need for external biasing in AC-coupled applications.
