MAX4910/MAX4911/MAX4912 quad, single-pole/double-throw (SPDT), clickless audio switches fea- ture negative signal capability that allows signals as low as VCC-5.5V to pass through without distortion

The MAX4908/MAX4909/MAX4930/MAX4932 are dual 3:1 clickless audio multiplexers with negative-signal handling capability. These analog multiplexers have a low on-resistance, low supply current, and operate from a single supply voltage. They can pass signals as low as VCC - 5.5V without distortion.

The MAX4762–MAX4764/MAX4764A/MAX4765 low-voltage, dual SPDT, audio switches feature negative signal capability that allows signals below ground to pass through without distortion. These analog switches operate from a single +1.8V to +5.5V supply and have low 0.6Ω on-resistance, making them ideal for switching audio signals. The MAX4763/MAX4765 include a comparator that can be used for headphone detection or a mute/send key function. The MAX4764/MAX4764A/MAX4765 have an internal shunt switch to automatically discharge any capacitance at the NO and NC connection points. This reduces click-and-pop sounds that occur when switching audio signals between precharged points. These SPDT switches are available in space-saving µMAX, TDFN, thin QFN, and UCSP packages and operate over the -40°C to +85°C extended tempera- ture range.

The MAX4901~MAX4905 switches feature negative signal capability that allows signals below ground to pass through without distortion. The MAX4735 low-voltage, 0.31-ohm, quad-SPDT analog switch routes audio signals in portable applications. Each channel has a 0.31-ohm typical on-resistance, allowing the MAX4735 to drive 8-ohm loudspeakers with less than 0.02% distortion. The MAX4735 is configured as a quad-SPDT switch with two common control inputs. Each digital input controls two pairs of SPDT switches. The switches are fully bidirectional, allowing both multiplexing and demultiplexing operation. Break-before-make operation is guaranteed. The device operates from a +1.6V to +3.6V supply and over the extended -40°C to +85°C temperature range. It is offered in both 16-pin 3mm x 3mm TQFN and TSSOP packages.

The MAX4854H/MAX4854HL is a quad SPST switch operating from a single supply voltage of +2V to +5.5V and can handle signals greater than the supply rail. This device features four low on-resistance (7Ω) single-pole/single-throw (SPST) switches with 27.5pF on-capacitance, making it ideal for data signals. If the input signal exceeds the supply rail, the switches become high impedance and prevent the signal from feeding through to the output. The MAX4759 has four 0.5Ω on-resistance switches to route audio signals and four 25pF capacitance switches to route data signals. The MAX4758/MAX4759 have four logic inputs to control the switches in pairs. The MAX4758/MAX4759 are available in a small 36-pin (6mm x 6mm) thin QFN and 36-bump (3mm x 3mm) chip-scale package (UCSP™).

The MAX4780/MAX4784 are low on-resistance, low-voltage, quad 2:1 analog multiplexers that operate from a single +1.6V to +4.2V supply. These devices have fast switching speeds (tON = 20ns, tOFF = 8ns), handle rail-to-rail analog signals, and consume less than 1µW of quiescent power. When powered from a +2.7V supply, the MAX4780/MAX4784 feature low 0.7Ω on-resistance (RON), and 0.1Ω RON flatness. The digital logic input is +1.8V CMOS-logic compatible when using a single +3V supply. The MAX4780/MAX4784 are available in 16-pin TSSOP and 3mm x 3mm thin QFN packages.

The MAX4706/MAX4707 are single-pole single-throw (SPST) switches that operate from a single 1.8V to 5.5V sup- ply. The MAX4706 is a normally closed (NC) switch and the MAX4707 is the normally open (NO) version. These switches provide 2Ω on-resistance (RON) and 0.6Ω RON flatness with a +2.7V supply. These devices typi- cally consume only 0.02µA of quiescent current, mak- ing them suitable for use in low-power, portable applications. The MAX4706/MAX4707 feature low-leak- age currents over the entire temperature range, TTL/CMOS-compatible digital logic, and excellent AC characteristics. The MAX4706/MAX4707 are offered in small 5-pin and 6-pin SC70 and 6-pin µDFN packages. Applications include battery-operated equipment, audio signal routing, low-voltage data-acquisition systems, sample-and-hold circuits, communications circuits, and relay replacement.

The MAX6453–MAX6456 are low-power, dual-voltage µP supervisors featuring separate VCC reset and manual reset outputs. The dual outputs support both soft-system reset (interrupt) and hard-system reset (reboot) functions. The reset output asserts when any of the monitored voltages falls below its specified threshold and remains asserted for the reset timeout (140ms min) after all voltages exceed their respective reset thresholds. All devices are offered with nine factory-fixed reset thresholds for monitoring primary system voltages (VCC) from 1.8V to 5V and an adjustable reset input for monitoring a secondary system voltage down to 0.63V. Each device has a manual reset input, a VCC reset output, and a manual reset output.
