MAX3814 is a TMDS output device launched by TI company, which has the characteristics of FR-4 board microstrip and cable HF loss compensation, variable output current, selectable partial return termination and 4 channels.

The MAX9526 is a low-power video decoder that converts NTSC or PAL composite video signals to 8-bit or 10-bit YCbCr component video compliant with the ITU-R BT.656 standard. The device powers up in fully operational mode and automatically configures itself to decode the detected input standard. The MAX9526 typically consumes 200mW of power in normal operation and typically less than 100µW in shutdown mode. An internal 10-bit, 54MHz analog-to-digital converter (ADC) samples the input with four times oversampling. The MAX9526 features a DC restoration circuit with offset correction and automatic gain control to accurately optimize the full-scale range of the ADC. An integrated analog anti-aliasing filter eliminates the need for external filtering. The MAX9526 includes a 2:1 input multiplexer with automatic signal selection based on activity at the inputs. An internal line-locked phase-locked loop (PLL) generates the sample clock and the line-locked clock (LLC) output to provide an ITU-compliant output. Alternatively, the PLL can be configured to provide a sample clock and output clock at 2x and 1x the frequency of the crystal oscillator, respectively. The MAX9526 provides a multiline adaptive comb filter to reduce cross-chrominance and cross-luminance artifacts. A single 1.8V supply is used for both the digital and analog supplies. The digital outputs operate from a separate +1.7V to +3.45V supply to allow direct connection to a wide range of devices.

MAX4028/MAX4029 are 5V, triple/quad, 2:1 voltage- feedback multiplexer-amplifiers with input clamps and a fixed gain of +2V/V (6dB). Channel 1 (IN1A and IN1B) inputs are clamped to the video sync tip of the input sig- nal, while the remaining inputs can be clamped to either the video sync tip or the video sync of channel 1 (IN1_). The latter is referred to as a key clamp and is pin selec- table. Selectable clamp/key-clamp inputs and fixed-gain video output buffers make the MAX4028/MAX4029 ideal for video-source switching applications such as automo- tive entertainment systems, video projectors, and dis- plays/TVs. Both devices have 20ns channel switching times and low ±10mVP-P switching transients, making them ideal for high-speed video switching applications such as on-screen display (OSD) insertion. The MAX4028/MAX4029 have a -3dB large-signal (2VP-P) bandwidth of 130MHz, a -3dB small-signal bandwidth of 210MHz, and a 300V/µs slew rate. Low differential gain and phase errors of 0.2% and 0.4°, respectively, make these devices ideal for broadcast video applications. The MAX4028/MAX4029 are specified over the -40°C to +85°C extended temperature range and are offered in 16-pin and 20-pin TSSOP/SO packages.

The MAX4027 is a triple, wideband, 2-channel, noninverting gain-of-two video amplifier with input multiplexing, capable of driving up to two back-terminated video loads. The MAX4027 features current-mode feedback amplifiers configured for a gain of two (+6dB) with a -3dB large-signal bandwidth of 200MHz. The device has low (0.012%/0.014°) differential gain and phase errors, and operates from ±5V supplies. The MAX4027 is ideal for use in broadcast and graphics video systems because of the low 2pF input capacitance, channel-to-channel switching time of only 15ns, and wide 62MHz, large-signal 0.1dB bandwidth. High-impedance output disabling allows the MAX4027 to be incorporated into large switching arrays with minimal interaction with the source. Specified over the -40°C to +85°C extended temperature range, the MAX4027 is available in 14-pin SO and TSSOP packages. Applications include video source selection (multiplexing), picture in picture (PIP) insertion, crosspoint expansion, coaxial cable drivers, etc.

The MAX4023–MAX4026 family of voltage feedback multiplexer-amplifiers combine low-glitch switching and excellent video specifications with fixed or settable gain. The MAX4024/MAX4026 are triple and quad 2:1 multiplexers, respectively, with amplifiers that have a fixed gain of +2. The MAX4023/MAX4025 are triple and quad 2:1 multiplexers, respectively, with adjustable gain amplifiers optimized for unity-gain stability. All devices have 25ns channel switching time and low 10mVP-P switching transients, making them ideal for high-speed video-switching applications. These devices operate from a single +4.5V to +11V supply or from dual supplies of ±2.25V to ±5.5V, and feature an input common-mode voltage range that extends to the negative supply rail. A low-power disable mode places the output in a high-impedance state. The MAX4023/MAX4025 have -3dB bandwidths of 260MHz and up to 330V/µs slew rates with a settable gain to equalize long cable runs. The MAX4024/ MAX4026, with 200MHz -3dB bandwidths and 363V/µs slew rates, have a fixed gain of +2 for driving short back-terminated cables. The MAX4023/MAX4025 inter- nal amplifiers maintain an open-loop output impedance of only 18Ω over the full output voltage range, and mini- mize the gain error and bandwidth changes under loads typical of most rail-to-rail amplifiers. These devices are ideal for broadcast video applications with differential gain and phase errors of 0.07% and 0.07°, respectively.

The MAX4529 is a low-voltage T-switch designed for switching RF and video signals from DC to 300MHz in 50- and 75-ohm systems. The switch is constructed in a “T” configuration, ensuring excellent high-frequency off isolation of -80dB at 10MHz. The MAX4529 can handle Rail-to-Rail® analog signals in either direction. On-resistance (70 ohms max) is flat (0.5 ohms max) over the specified signal range, using ±5V sup- plies. The off leakage current is less than 1nA at +25°C and 20nA at +85°C. This CMOS switch can operate with dual power sup- plies ranging from ±2.7V to ±6V or a single supply between +2.7V and +12V. All digital inputs have 0.8V/2.4V logic thresholds, ensuring both TTL- and CMOS-logic compatibility when using ±5V or a single +5V supply.

The MAX4586/MAX4587 are a series of serially controlled, 4-channel audio/video multiplexers ideal for multimedia applications. They feature 65Ω on-resistance, 4Ω on-resistance matching between channels, and 5Ω on-resistance flatness. Additionally, they feature -83dB off-isolation at 20kHz and -48dB off-isolation at 10MHz, with -84dB crosstalk at 20kHz and -60dB crosstalk at 10MHz. The MAX4586 uses a 2-wire, I2C™-compatible serial interface; the MAX4587 uses a 3-wire, SPI™/QSPI™/ MICROWIRE™-compatible interface. Both devices are available in 10-pin µMAX packages and are specified for the extended -40°C to +85°C temperature range. Applications include cellular phones and accessories, private mobile radios (PMRs), PC multimedia audio/video routing, industrial equipment, set-top boxes, video conferencing, and high-end audio equipment.

MAX4562/MAX4563 are serial-interface controlled switches from Maxim Integrated, which are ideal for multimedia applications. They feature 30 ohms maximum on-resistance (RON), 5 ohms RON match, and 5 ohms RON flatness. They can achieve -85dB audio off-isolation and crosstalk at 20kHz, and -55dB video off-isolation and crosstalk at 10MHz.

The MAX4545/MAX4546/MAX4547 are low-voltage T-switches designed for switching RF and video signals from DC to 300MHz in 50Ω and 75Ω systems. They have excellent high-frequency off isolation and crosstalk performance, and can handle Rail-to-Rail® analog signals in either direction. The on-resistance is well matched and flat over the specified signal range, using ±5V supplies.
