The TPA321 is a bridge-tied load (BTL) audio power amplifier developed especially for low-voltage applications where internal speakers are required. Operating with a 3.3-V supply, the TPA321 can deliver 250 mW of continuous power into a BTL 8-Ω load at less than 1% THD+N throughout voice band frequencies. This device features a shutdown mode for power-sensitive applications with a quiescent current of 0.15 µA during shutdown. The TPA321 is available in an 8-pin SOIC surface-mount package.

This datasheet describes the TPA0233, a 2-W mono bridge-tied-load (BTL) amplifier designed to drive speakers with as low as 4-Ω impedance. The mono signal is created by summing left and right inputs. The amplifier can be reconfigured on the fly to drive two stereo single-ended (SE) signals into headphones. This makes the device ideal for use in small notebook computers, PDAs, digital personal audio players, anywhere a mono speaker and stereo headphones are required. From a 5-V supply, the TPA0233 delivers 2 W of power into a 4-Ω speaker. The gain of the input stage is set by the user-selected input resistor and a 50-kΩ internal feedback resistor (AV = - RF/ RI). The power stage is internally configured with a gain of -1.25 V/V in SE mode, and -2.5 V/V in BTL mode. Thus, the overall gain of the amplifier is -3.75 V/V in SE mode or -5 V/V in BTL mode.

The UCC35705 and UCC35706 are 8-pin voltage mode primary side controllers with fast over-current protection. These devices are used as core high-speed building blocks in high performance isolated and non-isolated power converters. UCC35705/UCC35706 devices feature a high speed oscillator with integrated feed-forward compensation for improved converter performance. A typical current sense to output delay time of 25 ns provides fast response to overload conditions. The IC also provides an accurate programmable maximum duty cycle clamp for increased protection which can also be disabled for the oscillator to run at maximum possible duty cycle. Two UVLO options are offered. The UCC35705 with lower turn-on voltage is intended for dc-to-dc converters while the higher turn-on voltage and the wider UVLO range of the UCC35706 is better suited for offline applications.
