ON Semiconductor NCP1400A handbook

The NCP1400A is a 100mA, fixed frequency PWM step-up micropower switching regulator specifically designed for powering portable equipment from one or two cell battery packs. These devices are designed to start-up with a cell voltage of 0.8V and operate down to less than 0.2V. With only four external components, this series allows a simple means to implement highly efficient converters that are capable of up to 100mA of output current. Each device consists of an on-chip fixed frequency oscillator, pulse width modulation controller, phase compensated error amplifier that ensures converter stability with discontinuous mode operation, soft-start, voltage reference, driver, and power MOSFET switch with current limit protection. Additionally, a chip enable feature is provided to power down the converter for extended battery life. The NCP1400A device series are available in the Thin SOT23-5 package with seven standard regulated output voltages. Additional voltages that range from 1.8V to 4.9V in 100mV steps can be manufactured.

ON Semiconductor MC10186 handbook

The MC10186 is a device that contains six high-speed master-slave type D flip-flops. It has a common clock input, and data is entered into the master flip-flop when the clock is low. The transfer of data from the master to the slave flip-flops occurs on the positive-going clock transition. Therefore, outputs can only change on a positive-going clock transition. Due to the master-slave construction of this device, a change in the information present at the data input will not affect the output information at any other time. This circuit includes a common reset function that is only active when the clock is low.

ON SEMICONDUCTOR MC100EP16VC Data Sheet

The MC100EP16VC is a differential receiver/driver with high gain and enable output. It is functionally equivalent to the EP16 and LVEP16 devices. The MC100EP16VC provides an EN input that is synchronized with the data input (D) signal, allowing glitchless gating of the QHG and QHG outputs. When the EN signal is low, the input is passed to the outputs and the data output equals the data input. When the data input is high and EN goes high, it forces QHG low and QHG high on the next negative transition of the data input. If the data input is low when EN goes high, the next data transition to high is ignored and QHG remains low and QHG remains high. The next positive transition of the data input is not passed on to the data outputs under these conditions. The QHG and QHG outputs remain in their disabled state as long as the EN input is held high. The EN input has no influence on the Q output, and the data input is passed on (inverted) to this output whether EN is high or low. This configuration is ideal for crystal oscillator applications where the oscillator can be free running and gated on and off synchronously without adding extra counts to the output.

ON NUF6401MN 6-Channel EMI Filter with Integrated ESD Protection handbook

NUF6401MN is a six-channel (C-R-C) Pi-style EMI filter array with integrated ESD protection. Its typical component values of R = 100Ω and C = 17 pF deliver a cutoff frequency of 110 MHz and stop band attenuation greater than -30 dB from 800 MHz to 3.0 GHz. This performance makes the part ideal for parallel interfaces with data rates up to 74 Mbps in applications where wireless interference must be minimized. The specified attenuation range is very effective in minimizing interference from 2G/3G, GPS, Bluetooth® and WLAN signals. The NUF6401MN is available in the low-profile 12-lead 1.35 mm x 3.0 mm DFN12 surface mount package.

ON SEMICONDUCTOR NCV8505 Series Data Sheet

The NCV8505 is a family of precision micropower voltage regulators with an output current capability of 400mA. The family offers output voltage options for Adjustable, 2.5V, 3.3V, and 5.0V. The output voltage is accurate within ±2.0% with a maximum dropout voltage of 0.6V at 400mA. Low quiescent current is a feature, drawing less than 1.0µA with ENABLE = 0V. With ENABLE = 5.0V, the part only draws 200µA with a 100µA load. This part is ideal for any and all battery-operated microprocessor equipment. The microprocessor control logic includes an active RESET (with DELAY). The active RESET circuit operates correctly at an output voltage as low as 1.0V. The RESET function is activated during the power-up sequence or during normal operation if the output voltage drops below the regulation limits. The regulator is protected against reverse battery, short circuit, and thermal overload conditions. The device can withstand load dump transients, making it suitable for use in automotive environments. The device has also been optimized for EMC conditions.
