Technical datasheet for the Winning CS1681 40‑channel LCD driver circuit with specifications, pinout and operation modes.
The CS1681 is a 40‑channel dot‑matrix LCD driver circuit that can operate in either COM or SEG drive mode. It contains two 20‑bit bidirectional shift registers, two 20‑bit data latches and two 20‑bit drivers, and is fabricated in a CMOS process.
The document provides a functional block diagram, detailed pin descriptions, electrical parameters, timing diagrams and example application circuits for both SEG and COM driving configurations. This manual is written in Chinese.
| Supply voltage (VDD) | 2.7 V – 5.5 V |
|---|---|
| Display voltage (V_LCD) | 3.0 V – 11.0 V |
| Operating temperature | -30 °C – +85 °C |
| Input high voltage (VIH) | 0.7 V DD |
| Data shift frequency (fCL) | 400 kHz |
The CS1681 can operate in either SEG drive mode or COM drive mode, selected by the level on the FCS pin.
The CS1681 provides 40 LCD driver output channels, split into two groups of 20 (SC1‑SC20 and SC21‑SC40).
The FCS pin determines whether the first output group drives SEG and the second drives COM, or both drive SEG, depending on its level.
