The DRV8833 is a dual H‑bridge motor driver that supports two DC motors or one stepper motor with up to 1.5 A RMS per bridge.
The DRV8833 from Texas Instruments provides two identical H‑bridge motor drivers with current‑control PWM circuitry. It can drive two DC brushed motors, a bipolar stepper motor, a solenoid or other inductive loads, delivering up to 1.5 A RMS (2 A peak) per bridge.
The device includes built‑in protection such as over‑current, over‑temperature, undervoltage lockout and a fault output pin. It also offers a low‑power sleep mode that disables the bridges and internal logic when nSLEEP is driven low. This manual is written in Chinese.
| Motor power supply voltage range | 2.7 V – 10.8 V |
|---|---|
| Continuous RMS output current per bridge | 1.5 A |
| Sleep mode supply current | 1.6 µA |
| Undervoltage lockout voltage (VUVLO) | 2.6 V |
| Input low voltage for nSLEEP (VIL) | 0.5 V |
It works with a motor supply voltage between 2.7 V and 10.8 V.
The device contains two identical H‑bridge motor drivers.
It provides over‑current, over‑temperature, undervoltage lockout, and a fault output pin.
Driving the nSLEEP pin low puts the device into a low‑power sleep state; pulling it high wakes it up.
