The S-8333 series is a single‑channel boost DC/DC controller designed for LCD bias and other low‑voltage mobile applications. It operates from 1.8 V to 6.0 V and provides a 1.0 V reference with high accuracy.
The device features external‑resistor programmable oscillation frequency (286 kHz‑1.133 MHz), duty cycle (47‑88.5 %), UVLO detection (1.5‑2.3 V), selectable soft‑start times (10 ms, 15 ms, 20 ms) and a latch‑type short‑circuit protection that can be delayed with an external capacitor. This manual is written in Chinese.
| Operating voltage range | 1.8 V ~ 6.0 V |
|---|---|
| Oscillation frequency range | 286 kHz ~ 1.133 MHz |
| Maximum duty‑cycle range | 47 % ~ 88.5 % |
| UVLO detection voltage | 1.5 V ~ 2.3 V |
| Soft‑start time options | 10 ms, 15 ms, 20 ms |
| Reference voltage | 1.0 V ± 1.5 % |
| Package type | SNT‑8A, 8‑Pin TSSOP |
The controller can operate from a minimum input voltage of 1.8 V.
The frequency is set by an external resistor on the ROSC pin, allowing a range of 286 kHz to 1.133 MHz.
UVLO triggers when the input voltage falls between 1.5 V and 2.3 V.
Three soft‑start times can be selected: 10 ms, 15 ms, or 20 ms.
