About this manual

The SRAC8 is a two‑phase stepper motor driver designed with a PID current‑control algorithm, offering high speed, high torque, low noise and low vibration. It supports 16 microstepping options and 16 current settings, with built‑in over‑voltage, under‑voltage, phase‑current and bus‑current protection, and all I/O signals are optically isolated.

The manual provides a detailed introduction, functional block diagram, electrical and environmental specifications, wiring diagrams, driver operating parameters, motor selection guidance, mechanical installation instructions, and contact information for MOONS headquarters and regional offices. This manual is written in Chinese.

Frequently asked questions

How should the power supply be connected to the SRAC8?

Connect the line (L) to the driver’s L terminal, the neutral (N) to the N terminal, and the ground to the driver’s ground terminal; a fuse not exceeding 10 A may be placed in series with the line.

What do the LED status lights indicate?

A steady or flashing green LED shows normal operation, while a flashing red LED signals an alarm or error; different flash patterns identify specific fault codes.

How can microstepping be set on the SRAC8?

Microstepping is selected with dip switches SW1‑SW4; sixteen step‑per values (e.g., 200, 400, 800 … 25000 steps/rev) can be chosen.
