This manual describes the Carlo Gavazzi VMU-CEM system, a modular solution for monitoring, recording, and transmitting energy efficiency data via Web…
The Carlo Gavazzi VMU-CEM system is an integrated modular system designed to record, monitor, and transmit analog and digital signals in industrial, commercial, or residential facilities, with a specific focus on energy efficiency. The system includes a main module with a built-in Web server, providing a powerful and intuitive user interface for monitoring data and configuring the system. Data transmission is supported through various protocols such as FTP, HTTP, and Modbus TCP/IP, utilizing both wired and wireless connections.
The system architecture consists of a main VMU-CEM module, up to 10 VMU-MEM control modules, up to 33 VMU-OEM digital I/O modules, and up to 11 VMU-PEM analog input modules. Key features include the ability to manage up to 32 three-phase meters, record data for up to 30 years, and operate within a compact 8-DIN footprint. The system ensures reliability through protection against network attacks and data redundancy tools.
The system can manage up to 32 three-phase electricity meters.
The maximum working temperature is +55°C when no VMU-OEM modules are installed.
The maximum power consumption is 18W when connected to one VMU-OEM module.
