About this manual

The AD5560 programmable device power supply (DPS) provides selectable force voltages and measure ranges, featuring five internal current ranges and two external high‑current ranges (±1.2 A and ±500 mA). It includes integrated 16‑bit DACs for force, comparator, clamp, offset, and gain functions, as well as a programmable Kelvin clamp, alarm outputs, and a serial interface compatible with SPI, QSPI™, MICROWIRE™, and DSP standards.

The device is supplied in a 64‑lead TQFP or 72‑ball BGA package and offers extensive configuration options such as programmable slew rates (0.312 V/µs to 11 V/µs), on‑chip temperature sensing, and diagnostic registers. Detailed specifications, timing characteristics, and application information are provided for designers of automatic test equipment and other high‑precision systems.
