The duct temperature sensor QAM22 is used for measuring the air temperature in air ducts and can be used as supply or exhaust air temperature sensors, limit sensors, temperature drift sensors, dew point temperature sensors and measurement sensors.
The QAM22 series are duct temperature sensors designed for HVAC applications such as supply or exhaust air temperature measurement, limit sensing, drift compensation, and dew‑point detection. The sensor element is flexible, housed in a plastic shell, and can be mounted on a flange at various positions within the duct.
The guide details technical parameters, protection ratings, wiring connections, and step‑by‑step installation procedures, including recommended mounting locations, cable routing, and environmental limits. It also includes a wiring diagram that is common to all QAM22 variants. This manual is written in Chinese.
| Measurement range | -50 to +80 °C |
|---|---|
| Protection rating | IEC 529, IP42 |
| Safety class | EN 60730, III |
| Electrical connection | Screw terminals 1×2.5 mm² or 2×1.5 mm² |
| Weight (QAM22) | 0.16 kg |
| Sensor element length | 0.4 m |
| Time constant t63 | <1 s at 2 m/s, 30 s |
The sensor measures temperatures from –50 °C to +80 °C.
If the supply fan is after the last air‑handling unit, mount the sensor downstream of the fan; otherwise keep the sensor at least 0.5 m away from the last unit.
It complies with IEC 529, IP42 protection rating and EN 60730 class III safety rating.
