About this manual

The TLP631 and TLP632 are high-density mounting type 6-pin DIP phototransistor couplers. The TLP632 lacks a base connection for improved noise immunity. They feature a minimum collector-emitter voltage of 55V, current transfer ratio of 50% (100% for GB rank), and isolation voltage of 5000 Vrms. Both are TTL compatible and UL recognized (UL1577, file E67849).

Typical applications include computer I/O interfaces, noise cutting in system equipment and measuring instruments, various controllers, copiers, vending machines, and signal transmission between circuits with different potentials. The datasheet provides absolute maximum ratings, recommended operating conditions, electrical and isolation characteristics, switching times, and typical performance curves. This manual is written in Japanese.

Frequently asked questions

Does the TLP632 have a base pin?

No, the TLP632 does not have a base connection, which gives it higher noise immunity.

What is the minimum isolation voltage for the TLP631 and TLP632?

The minimum isolation voltage is 5000 Vrms (AC, 1 minute).

What are the current transfer ratio (CTR) rank ranges for these photocouplers?

CTR ranks are Y (50-150%), GR (100-300%), BL (200-600%), and GB (100-600%).
