Frequently asked questions
How do I replace the measurement tube on an SM-6 flow meter without a sensor?
Loosen the screws at both ends of the tube, press the tube to release the top, slide the sealing washer off, remove the tube, then reinstall with new screws and washers in reverse order.
What is the maximum surface temperature allowed for the flow meter?
The maximum surface temperature (T surf) must not exceed the maximum medium temperature (T med).
Can the flow meters be used in explosive (Zone 1) environments?
Yes, the devices comply with EU Directive 94/9/EC and are suitable for Zone 1, Group IIC (S‑SM) or Group IIB (SM‑6, SM‑6‑V) applications.
