This manual provides you with an overview of the operation of the GMA 313 CO2 Gas Monitor, including its detection principle, safety instructions, operational instructions, and fault handling.
The GfG GMA 313 is a compact CO2 gas monitor designed for continuous ambient air monitoring. It uses infrared detection for accurate CO2 measurement and provides audible and visual alarms when thresholds are exceeded. The unit includes a relay output and can be adjusted for alarm levels using a calibration adapter. It requires a 30-minute warm-up period before operation and must be mounted approximately 12 inches from the floor to ensure proper gas detection.
Maintenance and inspection are recommended annually to maintain accuracy, and the device is protected against water and dust (IP54). Optional accessories include a remote reset unit and mounting brackets. The device operates on 110V and is designed for safe installation and operation by qualified personnel only.

The GMA 313 requires a 30-minute warm-up period before it can detect CO2.
Use the calibration adapter to supply a test gas concentration (1.5% or 3% Vol. CO2), then press buttons “T” and “Q” to enter service mode and adjust the thresholds.
Mount the GMA 313 approximately 12 inches from the floor, as CO2 is heavier than air.
