This manual describes the functions, operating methods and maintenance methods of the GfG sensor ZD21.
This manual provides instructions for installing, calibrating, and maintaining the GfG ZD21 oxygen sensor transmitter. It includes details on mounting, electrical connections, zero point and sensitivity checks, service requirements, and troubleshooting common issues. The device is designed for fixed gas monitoring systems and features an amperometric oxygen sensor with temperature compensation and long sensor life.
The manual also covers safety precautions, warranty conditions, and service procedures compliant with German explosion protection regulations and DIN standards. Maintenance is recommended daily during initial operation and annually thereafter, with calibration adjustments possible via potentiometers or connected controllers.
| Output Signal | 0.2 .. 1 mA or 4 .. 20 mA |
|---|---|
| Supply Voltage | 10…32 V DC |
| IP Rating | IP 54 |
After a 30-minute warm-up, measure the voltage at the test contacts; it should be approx. 200mV (0.2 mA or 4 mA output). Adjust using potentiometer A or via the GMA controller.
Use a calibration adapter and test gas, then adjust via potentiometer A or recalibrate using the GMA controller’s interface.
