Frequently asked questions

What is the purpose of the first line key on the handset?

The first line key is recommended to be programmed as a 'Park-Orbit' key (Code *04 plus unique Park orbit number) to retrieve transferred calls when the target does not answer.

How do I make an external outgoing call?

You can use the common trunk access code (9), a specific line code (805 + Line port number), a line group code (804 + Line group number), a pre-programmed line key (2, 3 or 4), or automatic trunk access by pressing the green button if configured.

How do I use the DSS-Key to call an extension?

Press the green button, then press the DSS Function-Key. The call will connect to the extension. If the LED is off, the extension is idle; if steady on, it is busy; if blinking, it has features like Call Forward or DND.
