This document is a Quick Start Guide for Demonstration Circuit 486B, featuring the LTC1760 dual Smart Battery PowerPath and charger controller. The board is optimized for 2, 3, and 4-cell Li-ion battery packs and supports an input voltage range of 12V to 20V. It features a maximum charge current of 4A and follows the Smart Battery Standards for the Smart Battery System Manager (SBSM) specification.

The board is optimized to work with 2, 3, and 4-Cell Li-ion battery packs.
By default, the board will power up in 3-Diode mode, where all three power paths to the output are on.
