This document introduces the overview, features, pad, system diagram and functional description of NUC501
The NUC501 is an ARM7TDMI-based microcontroller designed for low-cost and high-performance applications such as interactive toys, edutainment robots, and home appliances. It integrates a 32-bit RISC CPU with 32KB high-speed SRAM, a crypto engine, boot ROM, LDO regulator, ADC, DAC, I2C, SPI, USB 2.0 FS Device, and GPIO into a single cost-affordable package. The architecture allows booting from SpiMemory or USB, reducing system complexity and BOM cost by eliminating the need for external SDRAM.
