ADE7953 is a high-precision energy metering IC that can measure line voltage and current, and calculate active, reactive, apparent power, as well as instantaneous voltage and current RMS values. It has less than 0.1% measurement error for active and reactive power within a dynamic range of 3000:1, and less than 0.2% measurement error for instantaneous current RMS within a dynamic range of 1000:1. The IC also supports zero line current measurement and theft detection.
The Analog Devices ADE7953 is a high-precision integrated circuit designed for single-phase energy metering applications. It features three Sigma-Delta ADCs and an internal energy metering processor to measure line voltage and current, calculating active, reactive, and apparent power as well as RMS values.
The device supports a second current input channel for neutral current measurement, enabling theft detection and neutral billing. It includes flexible programmable gain amplifiers (PGA) suitable for various sensors like CTs and shunts, along with internal integrators for Rogowski coil applications. Communication is supported via SPI, I2C, or UART interfaces. This manual is written in Chinese.
