About this manual

The ADSP‑BF70x family is a Blackfin+ core embedded processor offering up to 400 MHz performance with low static power consumption. It integrates dual 16‑bit or single 32‑bit MAC units, 16‑bit complex MAC, and a rich set of peripherals such as UART, CAN, USB 2.0 HS OTG, and multiple timers.

The device is available in two RoHS‑compliant packages (88‑lead LFCSP and 184‑ball CSP‑BGA) and provides flexible memory options, including 136 kB L1 SRAM, up to 1 MB ECC‑protected L2 SRAM, and 512 kB L2 ROM. Security features include a crypto engine, one‑time‑programmable memory, and fast secure boot.
