The BOSS XT-2 Xtortion is a guitar effects unit designed to deliver a futuristic metallic distortion sound. Power is turned on whenever a plug is inserted into the INPUT jack, and is turned off when the plug is disconnected.
The CHECK indicator will go dim or no longer light while an effect is ON, indicating the battery is near exhaustion.
The CONTOUR knob controls the tone of the sound; rotating it clockwise makes the sound milder, while rotating it counterclockwise makes it sharper and heavier.
