AN8027 and AN8037 are ICs for self-excited switching regulator of RCC local resonance control type. These ICs are designed to achieve stability and high efficiency over a wide input voltage range and loads range (light loads to heavy loads), for supporting input levels used worldwide and improved conformance with energy conservation laws.
This document provides a technical overview of the Panasonic AN8027 and AN8037, which are integrated circuits designed for self-excited switching regulators using RCC local resonance control. These ICs support worldwide input voltage ranges and offer improved energy conservation compliance through two operating modes: standby mode for light loads and normal mode for high efficiency.
| Supply voltage (V CC) | 24 V |
|---|---|
| Constant output current (I OUT) | -150 mA |
| Peak output current (I OP) | -1 000 mA |
| Power dissipation (Ta = 25°C) | 874 mW |
| Operating ambient temperature | -30 to +85 °C |
| Storage temperature (Tstg) | -55 to +150 °C |
| Output oscillator frequency range | 50 to 80 kHz |
| Package type | 9-pin single inline package (E-9S) |
The AN8027 detects resetting from a high- or low-level signal on the TR pin, while the AN8037 detects it from the falling edge of the high-level signal.
The ICs support Standby mode for light loads to achieve better efficiency and Normal mode for high efficiency in RCC local resonance operation.
