The Panasonic AG-CL78 is a Cassette Auto Changer designed to hold up to two cassette tapes. It can be easily attached to compatible Video Tape Recorders (VTRs) such as the AG-6830, AG-6850H, and AG-7800 by connecting the VTR connector to the unit's terminals.
The device features automatic loading triggered by signals from the connected VTR or via a manual button on the front panel. It includes protection functions indicated by status lights for AUTO OFF, ERROR, EJECT, and TAPE RUN modes. The unit can be expanded to hold four tapes using an optional cassette holder (AG-CH78).
