The M44C260/M48C260 is a family of 4-bit single chip microcontrollers from Temic Germany, M44C260 is a ROM type and M48C260 is an EEPROM programmable type, the main features include a 4-bit HARVARD architecture, 1µs instruction cycle, 4K 8-bit application program memory, 256 4-bit RAM, 16 8-bit EEPROM, 16 bidirectional I/O, 8 hard and software interrupt levels, 2 8-bit multifunction timers/counters and 32kHz on-chip oscillator.
