FAIRCHILD LCX Family Introduction handbook

LCX family is optimized for on-board buffering applications and provides mixed 2.5V/3.3V-5V capability by providing 5V over voltage tolerance on both the inputs and outputs. This family of popular gates, MSI, octal and 16-bit functions has maximum propa- gation delays similar to FAST and FACT. LCX also offers low CMOS power, low noise, and balanced output high-drive (±24 mA).
