The Hanna Instruments HI 9811-5 is a splash-proof portable combination meter designed for measuring pH, EC, TDS, and temperature. It features a large LCD display and allows for easy selection of measurement ranges via the front panel keypad. The instrument includes a built-in temperature sensor for automatic temperature compensation of conductivity measurements.

The instrument should be recalibrated at least once a month, whenever the electrode is replaced, after testing aggressive chemicals, or where extreme accuracy is required.
The instrument is guaranteed for two years against defects in workmanship and materials when used for its intended purpose and maintained according to instructions.
If it is not possible to calibrate after cleaning, the probe has to be replaced with a new one.
