This document is the user manual for Hanna's HI 9813-0, HI 9813-5 and HI 9813-6 portable pH/EC/TDS/°C meters, which have the functions of measuring pH, EC and TDS ranges, and come with automatic temperature compensation
The Hanna Instruments HI 9813 series includes three versatile, rain-proof portable combined meters designed for measuring pH, EC (mS/cm), TDS (ppm), and temperature. The models differ in features: the HI 9813-0 measures pH, mS/cm, and ppm; the HI 9813-5 adds temperature measurement in Celsius; and the HI 9813-6 includes a Cal-Check feature to verify probe calibration status.

The temperature coefficient is fixed at 2%/°C.
It is recommended to recalibrate whenever the electrode is replaced, at least once a month, after testing aggressive chemicals, or if extreme accuracy is required.
It is recommended to clean the probe often with HI 700661 Cleaning Solution.
