This document is the product manual of Hanna HI 96750 Potassium ion selective conductivity meter
The HI 96750 is an auto-diagnostic portable microprocessor meter designed to measure potassium (K) content in water samples. It features an advanced optical system based on a special Light Emitting Diode (LED) and a narrow band interference filter, allowing for accurate and repeatable readings using the Tetraphenylborate Method.
The instrument includes a powerful CAL CHECK validation function to verify performance at any time. It is splash waterproof with protected LED and filter units, making it suitable for field applications. The meter measures potassium in two ranges: 0.0 to 10.0 mg/L (LR) and 10 to 100 mg/L (MR).
| Range (Low) | 0.0 to 10.0 mg/L |
|---|---|
| Range (Medium) | 10 to 100 mg/L |
| Resolution (Low Range) | 0.1 mg/L |
| Accuracy (Low Range) | +/- 1.5 mg/L +7% of reading @ 25°C |
| Light Source | Light Emitting Diode |
| Battery Type | 1x9 volt |
| Dimensions | 192 x 104 x 69 mm |
The meter uses the Tetraphenylborate Method, where the reaction between potassium and reagents causes turbidity in the sample.
The instrument turns off after 10 minutes of non-use in measurement mode or after 1 hour if left in calibration mode.
The HI 96750 is warranted for two years against defects in workmanship and materials when used for its intended purpose.
